Why This Site Exists
Too often, immigrant stories are left untold, reduced to headlines or stereotypes rather than lived human experiences. This site exists to change that. HoCo Share Our Story was created to give immigrants in Howard County a platform to share their journeys in their own words—stories of resilience, struggle, hope, and belonging. By collecting and preserving these voices, we aim to foster empathy, break down misconceptions, and remind our community that every story deserves to be heard.
